Redmond Community Child Care
The goal of Redmond Community Child Care is to serve the children and families of the greater Redmond community by offering a high-quality, educationally-based, affordable day care experience for children 6 weeks old through 12 years old. Redmond Community Child Care was opened in 1994 as a product of a collaboration of many business and service organizations in Redmond. It began with a committee whose mission was to study the childcare needs, current and future, of the Redmond community. On the committee were representatives from businesses, early childhood education programs, Childcare Resources, and referral services, community service organizations, Redmond High School, the local hospital, the city of Redmond and many volunteers. The results indicated a great need for high-quality, affordable, flexible, childcare for children in the Redmond community.
